Meet Blanche!

In 2025, Blanche found herself at a local county shelter after living a very long life on the streets of Tampa. She was riddled with fleas and was anemic from all the blood loss. She was also emaciated with chronic thirst and an anomalous lump on her head. Aged 16 years, Blanche was deemed a hospice case…and she sat waiting….and waiting…and waiting.

Penny’s saw her getting posted over and over again with no interest, so we welcomed Blanche as a resident this past November.

She quickly took over an entire bedroom, which she almost never wants to leave. She eats special wet food many times a day, and sleeps whenever she is not eating. Blanche is very much enjoying her life as an indoor cat now after so many years battling the elements outside. She is an incredibly sweet cat, and has made a huge bounce back with her health.
